what will be the result if street art becomes legal?

do you think if street art becomes legal in your city (or maybe it is ),we face to more street artworks around the city or it can help to prevent rebel street artists. becoz there will be no borders for them to fight for. everything is legal , not illegal.

Take this a step further and then you have your answer. If we make everything legal then nothing will be a crime. Street are is illegal because it is a defacement of either private or publicly owned property. One should never do damage to someone else’s property. That includes if you’re calling it art. One man’s art is another man’s graffiti and vice versa. And what’s this about borders? Is this a gang reference? Gangs don’t own their turf simply because they say so. It belongs to the people who have the DEED to the property. Making their thuggery legal just to settle gang to gang disputes is crazy.

I predict many legal battles over what constitutes art. Eventually it will wind up in the Supreme Court.
First Amendment clarification issues concerning pornography and other offensive art forms will be the center of this battle.
There are some cities already that have designated areas where street art is legal. I believe I read some stories about San Francisco and San Diego permitting it and in some cases protecting art by noted artists.
