what are peoples reactions about graffiti/ street art?

i am a street artist. MY work is mainly graffiti letter and characters. i have found out that people think im a bad person because of my art. i stick to just drawing in a sketch book. i have a few pieces of ply-wood in my back yard that i use for the cans. i like to look at graffiti as i walk through the city. it really expresses who you are. some of it is offensive and not good looking but some is very artistic and takes alot of talent to do. i think there should be more legal walls for graffiti and street art. does anyone agree??

im actually a fan or graffiti… as an art form, non of that pointless shit that Chavs spray on the corner of ttheirroad just to piss off some poor old guy.
as long as its ddoneon appropriate places, not to sound like a buzz killington, but spraying on peoples houses just ain’t cool, anything council owned id be fine with haha.

so yeh there should be legal places to make your artwork defiantly, easiest way would be if they made for example, skateparks, they could just put some walls to graffitti on around it, that way everyones happy ;D

There is a guy in my art class who LOVES street art and is using it for is AP Art Concentration.
I’ve tried it and it is not an easy task- and I’m an artist that normally does more traditional arts.
I think it is original and oftentimes deep.
Why should someone be able to tell people where they can and can not make art. If there were rules and guidelines it would no longer be art.
